Lies, Damned Lies and Ballistics

That's a link to the Center for Public Integrity's study that shows, once and for all, that the Bush Administration lied in the runup to the Iraq War. 935 times to be exact, on 532 occasions. God bless 'em for doing the math. At least someone, somewhere in the journalistic sphere is doing their damn job.

How does basing a statement on intelligence that later turns out to be incorrect constitute "lying"?

As I recall, the world community in general believed this intelligence, and even folks who didn't want us to go to war with Iraq did concede that Saddam probably did have WMD.
